  • PAUL McGOWAN
    Chairman
    Paul McGowan is the Chairman of Amcomri Holdings, and was previously Chairman of the entertainment retailer HMV in the UK, Ireland and Canada. McGowan has been investing in the entertainment sector since 2010.
  • LARRY HOWARD
    Chief Financial Officer
    Larry is a highly experienced finance director having previously filled that role at Dunnes Stores, Ireland’s largest retail group. He led the acquisition of Metrodome, Tartan Palisades and Hollywood Classics as well as the formation of 101 International and Abacus Media Rights.

    Chief Executive Officer
    Robert is an experienced senior executive in media, entertainment and marketing. Most recently he was SVP & Managing Director for 20th Century Fox, prior to that he was UK CEO for Future Plc. He’s been creating and developing successful digital businesses and brands for over 20 years.
  • MICHÈLE MAHEUX
    Lead Independent Director
    Michèle Maheux is a 40-year veteran of the Arts & Culture arena in Canada, having served fulltime most recently as the Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer of TIFF (Toronto International Film Festival). In her more than 30-year tenure at TIFF, she helped grow the organization into one of the most powerful and acclaimed cultural institutions in the world with a purpose build home in the heart of downtown Toronto – TIFF Bell Lightbox. Throughout her career, Maheux has focused on organizational and leadership effectiveness - helping to cultivate the next generation of arts leaders for Canada. Maheux has used her transition from TIFF to concentrate on this mission and is now a certified and practicing Executive Career Coach consulting for a number of senior leaders and top teams in various sectors in Canada and abroad. In March 2020, Maheux co-founded the Leadership Emergency Arts Network (L.E.A.N.), a national association of hundreds of seasoned senior advisers who offered their time and expertise to hundreds of Arts & Culture leaders across the country as they managed their organizations through the pandemic.
  • ANDY LYON
    Director
    UK-based entrepreneur with 30 years experience in the film distribution business, Founder and Current CEO of 101 Films, 101 Films International, Hollywood Classics International. In 2011, Lyon co-founded 101 Films, the UK-based film distributor across Physical, Digital, TV and SVOD. 101 has become one of the UK’s most recognizable and largest Independent publishers and has absorbed a number of other distributors and libraries, including Metrodome, Palisades Tartan, Quiver Library and the Screen Media library. In 2016 Lyon relaunched the Hollywood Classics International business which today services the catalog licensing of major studios including Twentieth Century Fox, Sony Pictures, Paramount, and Universal Pictures. In 2019 Lyon founded 101 Films International, an all rights global film sales business. In 2020 Lyon was pivotal in the founding of Abacus Media Rights using the relationships forged over decades with its co-founder and a large array of TV and media executives globally. During 2021 Lyon was executive-producing seven feature films including the next installment multi-million dollar “Left Behind” film franchise due in 2022.
  • ALEXANDER STOJANOVIC
    Independent Director
    Mr. Stojanovic is an experienced senior finance executive. He currently serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Perfect Plants Inc., a global agriculture-technology company. Prior to Perfect Plants, Mr. Stojanovic served as the Chief Financial Officer of Emblem Corp., a publicly traded cannabis company on the TSX Venture Exchange. Mr. Stojanovic led several strategic initiatives and was part of the core team responsible for the sale of Emblem Corp. to Aleafia Health Inc. in 2019. Previously, he held several senior finance positions in Barrick Gold Corporation and Teranga Gold Corporation. Mr. Stojanovic has extensive experience in external financial reporting and compliance, business planning, capital markets activities, internal controls and corporate governance. He began his career in public accounting, managing audit engagements and corporate tax assignments. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Western Ontario and is a Chartered Professional Accountant as well as a Chartered Financial Analyst charter holder.

    Director, Vice President Productions
    From his Toronto base, Michael brings a well-rounded knowledge of all aspects of the film and television industry to the Amcomri team. Over 25 years of experience in the industry, his previous roles included President of Cloud Ten Pictures. He has a successful track record in sales and acquisitions, as well as packaging and producing independent feature films.
