We create unforgettable content
Amcomri Entertainment Inc. produces its own features either exclusively for its own account or in partnership with other independent producers in Canada, the USA and the UK. With access to capital and vast experience in marketing content on a global basis, Amcomri brings a unique approach to the production of feature film content in the independent sector as all content is distributed through its own distribution and sales agency companies, preserving all the value of the production and reducing the risk of non-payment of royalties and minimum guarantees around the world.
Working with independent producers such as Mike Hatton’s Ton of Hats in the US, Michael Walker in Canada and the UK-based Picture Perfect, Amcomri companies have already produced five feature films during 2020/21 including Every Last One Of Them starring Richard Dreyfuss and Take Back the cast of which includes Mickey Rourke, Gillian White and Michael Jai White. Further productions are in the works as part of a new four-film deal with Ton Of Hats.
In the UK, Amcomri fully funded the production of the new crime thriller, Code of Silence, which gives a new look at the arrest and conviction of the Kray Twins and was produced in conjunction with Picture Perfect.
In the final quarter of 2021, Amcomri finished shooting its most ambitious project to date, the US$5m sequel to the Nicholas Cage movie, Left Behind. The movie is the latest in the series of faith-based movies based on the New York Times best-selling book series. Shot exclusively in Calgary, Canada and fully-funded by Amcomri, Left Behind : Rise of the Antichrist is planned to have a theatrical release across US markets before being distributed globally by Amcomri company, 101 Films International.
Using its own capital in the production phase allows Amcomri to advance projects faster than the traditional funding methods for independent production and significantly reduces the risk for secondary funders and lenders who can then fund the less risky distribution phase, allowing Amcomri to re-cycle its capital into future productions.
